Shanti Mantra

 Significance

A Shanti Mntra is a prayer or chant for peace, often recited before and after Hindu religious rituals or ceremonies. The word 'Shanti' comes from Sanskrit which means peace and the word 'mantra' means prayer or song of praise, often recited repeatedly. There are various 'Shanti Mantras' mentioned in Hindu holy books known as 'Upanishads'. Shanti mantra is chanted to calm the mind of the reciter and the nature around him. Traditionally, a Shanti mantra ends with three recitations of "Shanti", which is believed to remove obstacles and calm the three reals: Physical, Divine, and Internal.

Consulting

As a professional consultant, it is 80% communication, 5% research. He shared useful insights regarding various tools that will help us as a consultant. He told us about the important tools required in the consulting profession amongst which MS Office is most important. Apart from that, one must master skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. It was very insightful to hear from him about the challenges he faced and overcome as a consultant and learned the skill to align his thought process with the clients.

Effective Communication

He explained the hierarchical structure to organize our ideas and supporting evidence. We should follow IDFL and MECE techniques.

IDFL: We should be able to organize according to Ideas, Data, Facts, and Logic

MECE: It stands for Mutually Exclusive Collectively Exhaustive. We should be able to cover all the points and avoid redundancy.

Swadeshi Mandi 2020 || NITIE

 "On this Independence Day - Socho Becho Seekho"

 The slogan -"Socho Becho Seekho" signifies the importance of learning by implementing and promoting a product, service, or organization. The sum total of all the things one person does when he wants to create understanding in the mind of another and convey ideas is effective communication. It involves a systematic and continuous process of telling, listening, and understanding.

So on the 74th Independence Day, lets's support our Honourable Prime Minister - Shri Narendra Modi's initiative and promote the "Vocal about Local pledge" by ascending towards building a nation that is "Aatmanirbhar." National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) in association with the Marketing Interest Group under the guidance of Prof. T Prasad launches the event named -

Under the umbrella of this event, I and my friend Vedant Saraf bring to you the magnificent Marble Art from the "Heart of India-Jabalpur". The ancient city of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh is located on the banks of river Narmada. An interesting tourist destination is often hailed as the "Land of glittering Marble rocks". The city is celebrated for its stunning ghats, waterfalls, historical and cultural richness and relevance, and its marble art.

The place initially became famous for the immense waterfall befitting its name "Dhauladhar Falls". The rocks around the place then posed a unique business opportunity for the locals and they started to build a community around it. If you throw a stone around the area, you are likely to hit a talented marble artist. Thus, apart from the scenic beauty of the falls, people have yet another reason to visit this beautiful place and treasure marble aesthetics.

Let us come together and make India self-sufficient and self-reliant and promote the local businesses of the nation and pledge towards achieving this dream of "Atmanirbhar Bharat."
